oakenguyWhatever strange dream meme hit Rose House last night, I think it affected me, too.
I dreamt I was at rehearsal, and it was ending, folks were leaving--but they came back inside holding a little white dachsund puppy they'd found outside.
They put him in Dave's kitchen (which I've never seen IRL) and were making worried noises about how ill and mistreated he looked. (I didn't think he looked that bad, though in the couple minutes it had taken me to get some water he'd managed to make messes *all* over the floor).
Then the scene shifted to the Georgia trailer next door (to Dave's house in Revere---yes, I know) the puppy had escaped from. A strange, sullen family was being lectured to by an Animal Control officer, and when the officers left the family vowed revenge on the "meddlers" who'd gotten them in trouble. The grandfather planned to do it by working on a spell and "calling on the power of the ghost of departed novelist Graham Greene".
