Nine days.

Forehead hot, hands a little shaky, wooziness and achiness...either my metabolism's kicked into overdrive, someone slipped me something, or I've got a fever.

Hmm...if I had a fever, there'd be a logical physical reason for why I feel like angsty crud today. (Above and beyond the Life Issues, e.g. What Am I Doing With My Life, yadda yadda). Oh, wait, cold sweats...it's a fever!

(Odd how it's such a relief to have something external to *blame* for my mental state. Even if there's no way I can skip work this week. Hrm.)

Practice last night was lots of fun, even if towards the end it was a relief to put the sword down. And sweat, don't even talk to me about sweat. Michelle's an excellent partner--experienced, and knows how to make each move look good, but not so flawless or aware of how good she is that she's intimidating to a newbie. And it feels that we, collectively, really...okay, better not say or I'll jinx us. I'll just say that I'd pay money to see this, and that's not something I can say about a lot of the performances I've been involved in over the years. (Well, not FULL price, anyhow.)
