Things to Watch Out For
May. 15th, 2003 12:59 pm(aka support your local artists)
People who live in the Davis Square area are invited to go down Kidder Ave. and see the stage I helped construct yesterday. It's not just a gray box, oh no, it's going to be the pedestal for three living statues next Tuesday at South Station. If you go by tonight, you'll get to see the performers rehearsing on it. But not making it collapse or falling through the boards, no no, I was very careful. Hopped up on Dayquil, yes. But careful.
Also, each Thursday at the Cantab Lounge in Central Square is sketch and improv comedy night, featuring Faces 4 Radio, and the all-new, all-female group Skitches. (It took me about eight days to figure out what their name means. Duh.) I went last week and was really impressed. (8pm for Faces, 9:30ish for Skitches)
