The Cause: Boredom

The Experiment: Purchase one (1) American-made Twix bar, and one (1) Twix bar from Dublin, Ireland. Compare.

Preliminary Notes: American product lists 21 ingredients; Irish product lists 14. (Irish ingredients are listed in nine different languages, don't include nutritional information). Notable that American product lists chocolate as an ingredient in its milk chocolate; Irish product contains milk fat.

First look: Irish product has a stronger scent, more uneven pattern, possibly indicative of thicker chocolate. Same color, same size.

Taste: Biggest difference in the caramel--American product has less cookie, more caramel, and the caramel is sweeter and gummier than the Irish. Heavy aftertaste, some stickymouth. Irish cookie very pleasant, slightly buttery-tasting

Conclusion: I need a hobby.
