Ooog, tired and achy. Yesterday was spent helping friends move. It all feels like a blur of wooden furniture, boxes of books, and that U-Haul ramp.

I've decided that the time has come for us to invest, before our next move, in inflatable furniture. Or, if we have bookcases, to make sure they fold, and are made out of balsa wood.

I've also decided that if we buy a three-story house, like our friends did, the third floor will be the floor for little scraps of paper, maybe some feathers. Clothes and hollow items can go on the second floor. Everything that weighs more than fifty pounds can stay on the first floor, or possibly the lawn.

My time as a Walking Biosphere's due to start at 2. The thunderstorm's due to hit at 1. Cross your fingers. Who knows what primordial soup + a giant electrical charge + my head will equal?

Dude, I've been struck by lightening!
(In fact, a lot more people than you'd think have been hit.)
If you get hit by the 'good' kind & don't really get hurt, it makes for a great story.

My brother and his dog were simultaneously struck by ball-lightning. They said it hurt. (Well, the dog just yelped.) It would be interesting to know how many people get hit and survive.
