Doing the math:

I've done my Mad Scientist thang for four nights.

Each night I've done it about 60 times, for groups of 10-15 people.

That's 240 minute-long performances, and about, um, 3600 people I've performed in front of.

No wonder I'm hoarse.

Yes, I remember the first year I did it in 1999 when I was a puritan exorcist, the end of my bit was falling down dead...on the stone floor. No voice and a bruised diaphragm to go with it.
