enidenvy, but I figured it deserved its own post:
It's not like I haven't received periodic reminders of this fact, but driving's really brought home this essential fact: some people are just JERKS.
Remember the Monty Python sketches, and how when a character did something particularly stupid a knight would wander in out of nowhere and hit them over the head with a big fish? If I was God, that's what my angels would look like. And I'd have them roaming the world all the time smiting the stupid.

We sold the treadmill last night to a really cool pair of women who own a lab/dachshund mix (yeah, hard to picture. They muttered something about 'hydraulics'.) Deb's picking up the keys to our new apartment today. Lotta change in the air.
Including, unfortunately, the first hint of seasonal depression. I'm feeling vaguely....well, unsettled, for lack of a better word, today. Lame. And like I need a Sorting Hat that'll tell me what to *do* with my life.
"Start by getting eight hours sleep," it'll say. Hmmph.

Date: 2003-10-31 06:36 am (UTC)heh. you just reminded me of the season I spent walking around KRF with the Brownie Goddess's (D) giant fish (4 1/2') "Seymour", asking people if they wanted to be hit with a giant fish. :)
I suppose I stopped looking surprised after about the 10th person said yes.
