It's very VERY sad that the "erupting volcano" in Kowloon on Rte. 1 was more impressive than the one in the Smithsonian Botanical Gardens. Blinking track lighting covered in red cellophane isn't exactly lava.
On the other hand, the Smithsonian's rain forest was much better. And they weren't blasting Christmas music at 140 decibels. And they had orchids! So they win there.
On the other other hand, they didn't have about thirty of my friends celebrating a birthday at the Smithsonian.
But on the other other other hand, I could actually hear conversations at the Smithsonian, as opposed to at the Kowloon where I spent five minutes nodding and smiling at Dan rather than make him repeat himself.
But on the other x4 hand, the Garden didn't sell fruity alcoholic drinks that came in coconut shells.
But they DID have model trains.
Hmm.

And I want to get back to the Holocaust musuem. A half hour is nothing in that place
