Two random thoughts from someone not doing NaNoWriMo
Date: 2002-11-12 11:40 am (UTC)2) One of the first things I learned in Junior year composition when dealing with writing was even if you can't think of anything to write, write *something*. Your list of things you're writing not having to do with your novel counts.
I also heard at a talk by a published writer that good writing comes after writing a lot of bad writing.

So, my point? The fact that you're writing is good training for when you're actually writing good stuff instead of crappy novel. So, my opinion is, keep it up! Bad writers of the world, unite!

Hey, oaken... we should chat sometime about writing schedules. I know yours is for fiction, but maybe just hanging around someone who at least makes a pretense of organization will rub off some of those vibes on me. Hell, we should just hang out anyway. :P
